Running Away

Released in May of 2022, the song Running Away was the first song I wrote and sang lyrics on. The song was written during a time where I felt like everything was going wrong. I wanted to just pack up my shit, leave everything, and start fresh. Those feelings were so conflicted with leaving what I still had in my life. I questioned why I was "Running Away" and began to mentally argue with myself. After everything settled in my head, I started writing the music and the lyrics just came naturally. It was a very emotional process but felt so good to get those feelings out on paper and in a song I enjoy. Thanks for listening!
