Thoughts

Released in April of 2025, the song "Thoughts" started on an acoustic guitar sometime in August 2024. It was a very dark sad dissonant progression, but I really liked the sound of it. I immediately started recording the riff, added some drums, and some 1975 inspired guitars. The chorus vocal hook came pretty easy along with the melodies that were already there. Unfortunately, I got stuck. It took me forever to try and figure out how I wanted the verses and other supporting elements to sound for the rest of the song. Finally, forcing myself to sit down, I wrote two verses. The next night, I was able to do most of the production. After 3 mixing/mastering iterations, I hope you all enjoy this song.
