You Know It's True

Released in September of 2026, "You Know It's True" is my first song in over a year. I finally pulled this one out of the archives. It started back in 2024, and the lyrics came straight out of a breakup. I was sad it was over, but deep down I knew that trying things again wouldn't make it any different. I kept toying with the idea that maybe there really is someone for everyone, and I just wasn't that one for them, even after being told I was their one and only and getting love bombed the whole way through. Musically, I didn't want the song to be all about the lyrics. I kept them simple and let the production sit more forward than the vocals. I wanted a big EDM style build-up that people could clap along to, leading into a drop that hits. It took me a while to come back to this one, but I'm glad it's finally out. Hope y'all enjoy it!
